Soleil Dental Studio is looking for a Dental Assistant to join our team. The Dental Assistant will provide dental services to patients under the guidance of a dentist.

The ideal person for this type of role is a good listener, outgoing and compassionate, organized and adaptable and an excellent problem solver. This vital role greets our patients, displays professionalism, and maintains confidentiality at all times.

Responsibilities: 

• Welcome and prepare patients for dental procedures, ensuring comfort and addressing questions or concerns.
• Assist the dentist during exams and procedures by handing instruments, operating suction devices, and maintaining a sterile field.
• Prepare, sterilize, and organize dental instruments, equipment, and materials.
• Take and develop dental X-rays as directed by the dentist.
• Record patient medical history, treatment information, and charting accurately in patient records.
• Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental procedures.
• Schedule patient appointments, manage records, and assist with front-office tasks as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of treatment areas according to OSHA and infection control standards.
• Order and monitor dental supplies to ensure availability of necessary tools and materials.
• Support the dental team by performing other duties as assigned to ensure smooth and efficient office operations.

Requirements: 

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with a team in a fast-paced environment
• Previous clinical experience is preferred
